WDFH-FM 90.3 gratefully acknowledges major support from the foundations and businesses listed below. We encourage you to tell them that you value their support of your local community radio station. We are especially grateful and forever indebted for the unwavering, long-term support of our legal counsel on FCC and other matters, Timothy J. Fitzgibbon of Nelson Mullins (formerly of Carter, Ledyard & Milburn) in DC, and our counsel on corporate, tax, and other matters, Alycia M. Vivona of Piper Rudnick in NYC. Hats off also for the wizardry of Gray Haertig of Gray Frierson Haertig and Associates, who prepares the technical portions of our FCC applications. As is the case with many community radio stations, WDFH's history is full of war stories that would have come out very differently had it not been for the generous and wise counsel of these backstage people. We thank NPR for its generous 2007 donation of mixing consoles and other equipment for our studios. The consoles we've been using since the 1980s are built like tanks, but like any electronic equipment dating from the 1960s and 1970s, they've experienced some problems. The equipment from NPR will improve the technical quality of our signal and greatly reduce maintenance. WDFH has also received major equipment donations from WQXR, the legendary NYC radio station owned by the New York Times. We have always tried to pay special attention to the quality of our on-air sound, and generous (there's that word again!) equipment donations from fellow broadcasters help our small station to work with first rate equipment.
